I miss Instagram’s old square grid. There was something stimulating about the collaged effect of the squares that has disappeared since they changed them to vertical rectangles. Because of this I’m finding myself using Tumblr again after a long hiatus. Here are some collages of things I’ve found inspiring lately.

Superdawg

The Superdawg Drive-In on Milwaukee Avenue is such an awesome Chicagoland institution. My favorite order is a Superdawg with a Pineapple Supershake.

The pickled green tomato on the side is unique and delicious. We’ve also been to their location in Wheeling which is very nice!

Nature Walk

It’s usually too hot in July to go for long walks in the Florida Panhandle, but it has rained almost every day so far this summer which has kept things a bit cooler. I took my Kodak PIXPRO FZ55 along with me for this walk through WaterColor and Seaside hoping it would capture some nice shots, and it did not disappoint!

I think the Samsung digital camera I used to have might have been a bit better, but this Kodak is really growing on me. I have not applied any filters to these, they are straight from the camera.
