Watercolor

One of the reasons my favorite town along 30A is Seaside is because it’s surrounded by the magical community of WaterColor, easily identifiable by its iconic streetlamps.

The entrance to their extensive trail system is this wooden boardwalk next to a fountain that heads straight towards a bridge over Western Lake.

The homes in WaterColor are not as colorful as Seaside, but their yellow Tennis Center stands out with some nice architectural details.

Crossing the wooden pedestrian bridges that dot this community reinforces the feeling of being connected to nature. Turtles and frogs can often be seen in the water below.

And if you keep your eyes peeled, you may spot one of the many deer that live in the area!

Florida Sunsets

Like many people I have a ridiculous number of sunset pictures saved on my iPhone, but I’ve managed to narrow it down to these top 5 photos. These are totally unmanipulated images, straight from my camera roll.

I took this photo at Pier Park in Panama City Beach a few years ago. This is definitely my #1 most favorite picture that I’ve ever taken of all time.

This photo of a sunset reflecting in Western Lake is close second.

This one was a bit more subtle, I like that pink blob hovering there like a UFO.

This recent sunset at Alys Beach was incredible.

I took this from the passenger seat of our car while driving down Highway 98 – I really like how that blurry truck on the left gives the photo a sense of movement.

Hope you enjoyed these.

I really like these photos I took all over Chicago at different times, but had difficulty finding a way to share them in an interesting context. So I was very pleased when I finally figured out how to group them together under this unified theme. Enjoy!

Garden of Eden

This collage has a Garden of Eden vibe with the Adam and Eve ceramic bowl. I also included a portion of the painting Young Corn by Grant Wood because I felt like it fit the theme.

All photos taken by me.
